Suzuki is pleased to announce that Silverstone Race Circuit now has two of its market-leading KingQuad ATVs as part of its maintenance and support vehicle fleet. The two KingQuad 750XP machines (XP denotes power steering) are being used for essential track maintenance during race meetings and general estate management duties during the off-season.
The ATVs were delivered ahead of the recent British F1 Grand Prix in July and have been in use ever since, making light work of keeping the world’s most iconic race circuit and the surrounding areas in tip top shape.
Suzuki is a highly respected and popular manufacturer of ATVs and back in 1983 the QuadRunner 125 was the ATV that started an industry! It was the first ever production 4-wheel ATV and became a top-seller. This ATV boasted a friendly design that was easy to use and an outstanding cost-performance ratio. It was to be the catalyst that started a future of 4-wheel ATV technology.
Now Suzuki’s range currently comprises of three versatile standard models; the KingQuad 500 and 500XP as well as the KingQuad 750XP that come in Flame Red or Terra Green. There are also the limited edition 500XPZ and the 750XPZ models that Silverstone are using, which come in True Timber Camo and Metallic Matt Rocky Grey. These robust utility ATVs are the culmination of years of refinement and their high levels of technical specification and ease of handling give riders confidence on any terrain and sure-footed stability when cornering.
Lee Howkins, Circuit Manager at Silverstone said, “The Suzuki KingQuads are so easy to ride and with their versatility and manoeuvrability, we have been able to use them on a number of track and land management tasks enabling our team to complete them more efficiently. They are already an extremely important tool for us and one which we would not want to be without.”
