Suzuki is pleased to continue offering the European All-Terrain Vehicle Safety Institute’s (EASI) ATV RiderCourse free of charge with the purchase of every new KingQuad ATV. Held in training centres throughout the UK, the EASI ATV RiderCourse helps ATV owners develop their riding skills and safety awareness through a practical, hands-on learning experience.
Supporting Safe ATV Riding
Riding and operating an ATV is very different to a car or motorcycle. The positioning of rider weight, off-road working environment, clothing and other factors all affect a rider’s potential safety. It is important that all ATV owners are aware of the risks related to operating ATVs and take the necessary steps to mitigate potential harm to themselves or other people.
EASI, a non-profit organisation, tackles the need for safe riding skills and awareness by providing valuable training courses, such as the ATV RiderCourse.
Redeemable through Authorised Suzuki Dealers, this course helps to support the safe operation of a newly purchased KingQuad. Areas such as pre-ride checks, riding in different conditions, and negotiating obstacles are covered in the approximately five-hour course.
Each course ends with a wrap-up and review session where Student Performance Evaluation Forms are provided to all participants. These evaluate the riding skills of each student and detail any that require further practice or work in future.
Suzuki’s Partnership with EASI
Suzuki is proud to have partnered with EASI for many years. Besides providing training to Suzuki customers, Suzuki trusts EASI to contribute to the training of its own staff, with an ATV RiderCourse forming part of the learning Suzuki staff undertake when working with KingQuads.
Mark Beeley, Head of ATV & Marine at Suzuki GB, said, “Our partnership with EASI has helped many of our customers to ride their KingQuads more safely. The ATV RiderCourses I’ve taken have been invaluable for maintaining my own skills, thanks to the experience the instructors have and the quality of teaching they provide. We highly recommend taking advantage of the free rider training available with every KingQuad”.
KingQuad owners can claim their place on an EASI ATV RiderCourse by contacting the Authorised Suzuki Dealer from whom the ATV was purchased.
ATV RiderCourses can be booked independently for £180 + VAT per person via EASI’s website: quadsafety.org/contact-us
